Here for your consideration is a fine example of the vintage, Chinese made, Affinity Strat by Fender, coming from a short series made for only 4 years between 1996-1999. Legend has it they were too good for the price point, hence discontinued. This Strat is practically the same as the Japanese-made Squier Bullets of the mid '80s, sharing the same full size alder body, same full size maple neck and rosewood-type fretboard with 22 frets, similar tuners. Electronics are also very similar and distinctive in sound. The single-ply 8-hole pickguard like the Fender Strats from the '50s gives this guitar a classic look.

I have owned this guitar for quite some time as my only rosewood fingerboard stratocaster, and had no problem switching back and forth between this instrument and my two other maple fingerboard MIMs, looking for different notes and colors in my music. It is really that good, and definitely much better than what you might expect for its low price.

While it also could be a good base for upgrades, should you so desire, everything is stock on this guitar, should you like to add it to your collection as is, and it comes with a nice Fender branded gig bag.

In mint condition. No dings, chips, or any major scratches. Body is beautiful. Neck is straight and smooth, frets are polished and show no signs of wear. Everything works as it should. Strung with D'Addario 10's. Thanks a lot for looking and happy buying!

Shipping cost is FREE and includes professional packaging, tracking and insurance.

My very first guitar was a 1997 Affinity Strat just like this one only black. Still my favorite guitar to this day. Plays amazingly, and sounds just as great. Got it for $75.00 with a tweed hard case in 2003.
