Select maintenance items performed over the years: most of its life, the vehicle was serviced at Mercedes Benz of Greenwich and Fairfield; as well as at European Autoworks in Greenwich (great local shop, exclusively specializing in servicing German vehicles – highly recommended); new transmission (installed in 2022 by Croce’s Transmission in Norwalk – quality service, $5,000 job), new alternator, new belt, new power steering pump and holding tank, various new hoses as needed, new coils and spark plugs. Brake jobs – pads, rotors, and fluid – as required. Motor oil (always Mobil 1, advanced full synthetic, 0W-40) and filter, and other filters (cabin and air) changed every 3,000 miles, or once a year, whichever came sooner; new front and rear SAM modules, new AUX battery.
Extras: comes with brand new tires (Bridgestone), a brand new AGM battery, and an extra set of winter tires (Pirelli), used over 3 seasons.
